Share in WhatsApp..
We can share in Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Google plus but where is WhatsApp option.
It's important to make a button to share in WhatsApp.
Can I make a option via navigation option in studio?

How can I get link? I mean there are different links for every posts what I will try to share. How can I enter a dynamic link.
When we click on share button we share in facebook, twitter or more but we can't see these options in social sharing navigation setting, so I am not understanding what should I enter there.

I forgot to include the link in the menues where I want the share button to be... now all fine, BUT the {url_encoded} is shown in whats app as text, not any content... should that {url_encoded} be replaced by anything else?

Hi Hodor,
Sorry for having you revisit this again, but for some odd reason when I tried applying the solution you suggested I get a 404 (Page not found ) when I try sharing to WhatsApp from a post.
Any further suggestion would be greatly appreciated, thanks -

Just a quick update to say thanks to Leonid the issue we had has now been resolved.
essentially we had not included the https :// prefix to apidotwhatsappdotcom/send?text={url_encoded} in the studio>navigation>social sharing.itemThanks once again Lenoid for the kind assistance.

How can we ensure that the link shared via WhatsApp also contain the image and title of the module (e.g., posts). It was working for me just but using the above method. Howeve, Whatsapp asking me to update my browser version and since then the images are not shared. I tried to use this modified method (https://web.whatsapp.com/send?text={url_encoded}&media={img_url_encoded}&description={title_encoded} but ufnorunately, no luck! Any help will be apprecaited!!
-
Hello @Tajrebatee !
Plz specify where did you get this part &media={img_url_encoded}&description={title_encoded} ? And what results did you reach? How does this "no luck" look like?
-
When I used the https://web.whatsapp.com/send?text={url_encoded} as suggested above i got something like this (https://tajrebatee.com/page.php?i=item&id=266) which shares the link but not the thumbnail or preview (this was working before I make the WhatsApp web update they suggested).. The part (&media={img_url_encoded}&description={title_encoded}) I copied from the share equivalent part of sharing in Pinterest.

@LeonidS The above method (apidotwhatsappdotcom/send?text={url_encoded}) worked well with the shared link in WhatsApp showing previwe of the contents (e.g., title of the post and the main image) until WhatsApp asked me to update the browser version and since then the WhatsApp link using the above method will create a hyperlink only to the post, but no preview contents (.e.g, no title or image). Any help? tnx
