UNA 14.0.0-A1 is available!

Does anyone's auto updates work?

Sadly, things don't always go as planned.

Upgrade failed due to the following error:

Files copying failed

I've looked at past upgrade fails and didn't find any answer.

    • In Host Tools:

      • UNA version = 13.1.0 - WARNING (your version is outdated, upgrade to the latest 14.0.0-A1 maybe required)

deflate_module - FAIL (you will need to install deflate_module for Apache)

      >> Any ideas how?

        • "Files copying failed" error usually means file permissions problem, it's probably some of the files can't be overwritten, please make sure that cron which runs upgrade is setup under the same user which own all files in folder with UNA site

          • Thanks Alex.

            1. I'm not sure where to set the file permissions, which files need the permissions, or what to set them to?
            2. It would be good if an announcement were made on the UNA update before it appears in Studio as 'Update Available'.
            3. ie: What changes have been made? Which files have been changed? Is it critical? How to update manually, if auto-updates don't work; which really defeats the object.
            4. Do all updates need to be done in sequence, as in Dolphin?

I had to have the admin e-mail match the hosting e-mail. That seemed to do the trick.
