Why Videos Mod does not have embedding videos option ?
I've been getting lots of my users complaining & asking me the same question, they click on Video link but there is no option to embed youtube videos, they can only upload raw videos. I've been telling them to embed video via {Posts} or {Discussion} Mods instead. This is really confusing & makes no sense. Videos Mod should be for Videos, why they need to use {Posts or Discussions} to embed videos.. I was wondering if we have a Video Mod on the market that does both embedding youtube video & uploading raw videos ? The current video that comes with UNA is very confusing, hope UNA team can add embedding option to it in the next version. Thanks.

Thanks Alex, good to know ! I have to disable Videos Mod for now since it is not doing what it supposed to.. I only allow embedding videos on my site..

Can someone embed a video from the Videos module in a post or discussion?
Also, do we have a solution for the uploading of LARGE video files for the Videos module or Posts that doesn't require upping the PHP memory and upload parameters above a set size we want to accept? It would be best to just let people upload any size file without concern over PHP memory or upload parameters via a fragment upload system.

Embedding is partially supported in Posts module, when you upload video for a post and click on "Insert to post" then embed version of video is inserted into the post:
You can get this embed and use anywhere on the site. More universal solution with user interface is planned for future versions:
