Is it possible in the administrative UI to dissociate (or associate) a content types from one another. For example, I would like to not have ads associated with events. It makes the list entirely too long in a site with hundreds or thousands of events.
That would exclude something in the timeline. I'm referencing the content creation process. If you have 1000 events do they all show up in a new discussion item in setting who can see? Is there a way to dissociate or associate content items to be displayed within each other. For example, would love to see events in spaces. but there isn't any need for me to have ads associated within an event.
It's only possible to disable some modules completely system wide in Studio > Settings > Site Settings > Hide post to context for modules in Privacy field
Thanks for this. It really doesn't get what I'm after. I want to be able to post to context, but limit and add which modules are associated with each other. I'm very keen to have events associated with spaces for example and to have events not associated with ads so that posting an ad doesn't give a long list of potential events to include.
There's probably more thinking from UI perspective as well on this. If there are a 1000 lives events, do they all show up in the drop down? for example.

Hello stephenrockwell !
With the default set you may only disable some content type in the Settings page of Timeline app, "Show events" parameter.
