Sorry if this was posted, but I searched and wasn't able to find an answer.
I've noticed when I toggle 'location' in a status update, my complete address (I'm in the USA) pops up. Is there a way to restrict that geolocation to just CITY and STATE?

Sorry, there is no way to edit location for automatic location field, or limit it to some more general location.
It looks like you will need to create custom fields in the Person profile sign up form, similar to what I did here.
