Hello everyone,
I have a question about how spaces work in UNA CMS.
When I create a space, I want to be able to create an event that belongs to that space, a post that belongs to that space, and a poll that belongs to that space. However, even when I give myself full permissions or set myself as administrator in the backend, I notice that I am treated as a site-wide administrator, and when I create those items, they are created outside of the space, not inside it.
I tried to compare this with organizations. In organizations, I can switch into the organization, and then whatever I create belongs to it. But in spaces I cannot “switch into the space,” so I cannot make the event/post/poll be created inside the space in the same way.
Could someone please explain how I should do this properly? Is there a different workflow or a setting I’m missing that allows content to be created directly inside a space?
Thanks in advance!

Hello @socraci !
The common way how to add something to the module is described here: https://unacms.com/d/groups-add-event
For now you need also to check this setting: https://unacms.com/d/bug-groups
and one useful example too: https://unacms.com/d/space-module-do-not-appear-in-dropdown
We were able to create a hierarchy within a space. We renamed Spaces to Communities. Within Communities we are able to create sub-communities, groups, events. We are video so only videos are allowed. To assign a group or an event to a community you have to use the Visibility menu when setting up the Group. For example, if your space is called Sports, when setting up a group called Football choose Sports from the visibility choices. The Football group will now appear in Sports. Of course, make sure Groups is part of the submenu of Spaces. To set this, Studio - Navigation - Spaces - View Spaces Submenu. Then repeat the same steps for Events.

Thank you so much! Yes, finally I discovered that.
