I think will be nice to can manually location without Google map api. Just type location without any checking
Also you can add option for location search from locationnIQ. It allow 250000 request per month free

Definitely agree. Google charges $5 per 1000 lookups, up to 100k, then drops to $4 per 1000, so it can add up quickly.
