I wanted to pre-populate my Una site http://una.fitrepreneur.me for testing
a) The Site says 'Registration is by invitation only.' but I have set 'Activate all persons after creation automatically' in People Settings
b) I registered a few people http://una.fitrepreneur.me/page/invites-request
- The Site indicated that approval was needed
- I did not receive any email verification or invitation request confirmation emails
c) I logged in (I am an Admin), selected People / All Statuses / All Profiles
- NONE of the names of the Registered People were in the list

'Activate all persons after creation automatically' isn't related to the Invitations.
If you want to disable invitations you need to go to Studio > Invitations > Enable registration by invitation only
Requested invitations can be approved in Admin's or Moderator's account Dash > Manage > Requests
Also you can sent invitation from your account: Dash > Invite > Invite By Email or Get Invitation Link

Sometimes I want to get people in the system without having to logout and in...
I still suggest that you add the ability to:
a) add users individually in the admin / dash
and/or
b) upload multiple via spreadsheet
e.x. Fitrepreneur may partner with another organization and, as part of the deal, provide access to Fytns Social to all members of the partner organization.
* both a & b are pretty standard for online sites with authentication.
- the OAuth App may take care of this when a partner already authenticates their users online.

FEATURE REQUEST: Invitations
- I accentually resent all eight users invitations
- actually, only five (the # set in the Invitations App) were sent
* there was no indication that three were not sent
1) Is there a way to reset the # Invitations a user can send?
2) Can we assign different User Invitation #s to users based on Permissions Level?
- is the rule X invitations only or is it X invitations over a period of time?

These two things sound like they are they same action
- how do they relate to the onboarding of new users?

Automatic account activation after creation
FYI -
1) I left both 'automatic' activations & creations
1a) along with the activation letter
2) I removed all 'checks' relative to requests and invitations
including the relevant email(s)
- A new user can register themselves
- email verification is sent
- profile activated email is sent
BUT BUT BUT
I want both:
1) Request Invitation
- an admin needs to approve the request
and
2) Existing Users to be able to send invitations
* I assume that this still requires 'activation' by an admin
Please help me with the proper configuration to accomplish my goals.

Update on Fytns Social User Onboarding
First the good news...
* I FOUND THE ACCOUNTS MANAGEMENT AREA!!! (admin) Dash / Manage / Accounts
* this area includes a list of Accounts along with the ability to:
- Activate
- Suspend
- Confirm Email
- Delete
but
one of my registrations was denied access and received the following error:
Spam detected. If you believe that this is a mistake, please submit a false positive report here: http://una.fitrepreneur.me/page/contact
* I logged-in as an admin and went to Dash / Manage and did not see any category for pending, denied, etc. under / Accounts it lists '0 Unconfirmed' and my denied user (jack.fong@fytns-advisors.com) not in the list on the Accounts Management page.
I received the contact email sent (as instructed by Jack) notifying me of the 'false positive', but it did not contain a link nor instructions on how to manage the issue.
... then it occurred to me that it was the Antispam App that denied JumpinJack!
- I checked the block log
- changed the IP Table status from 'Disabled' to 'All Allowed Except List'
- then I entered the IP address range into into the IP Table
but
young Jack Fong is still considered a threat to The Fitrepreneur nation!!!
- at this point I disabled Stop Forum Spam
and
Jack Fong has been granted the privilege of an account at Fytns Social
- he is listed in the admin / Dash / Manage / Accounts
ok
notes:
- the Ip address listed was not that of my (Fitrepreneur, Fytns-Advisors) web server
- this could have been caused by my VPN
- I have not obtained API Keys for either AKISMET or STOPFORUMSPAM
(not sure if this is relevant, but thought it was worth noting
- I suggest we send an email to the blocked prospective user providing information on how to remedy the situation
- taking the responsibility from the site admins
OUTSTANDING ISSUES
#1 - please provide me a configuration that will support the 'Request Invitation' process
#2 - (possible issues) include: multiple redundant(?) 'activation', no ability to approve Users in the Requests queue, lack of clarity around user generated invitations, why invite users remains in the Site UI when it has been turned off, ...I think the is more but my brain is not operating at capacity.
#3 - user management documentation would be welcome, including an onboarding workflow would be helpful
#4 - (not knowing why the choice was made to put 'Management' in the admin / Site / Dash) IMO a better place would be in admin / Studio Dash

You can click "email" button to send invitation request, it's equal to approve invitation - user will get join link

When this option is off then you need to manually approve each user before their can use your site.

Accounts are just a login details, profiles are visual representation of users on your site.
So you can allow account creations without manual approving, since accounts without profiles can't do much on the site,
and manually approve profiles only, so toy will not have any spammers or some test profiles or any other content on your site which is visible to public.
Actually, when you have invitations mode, you can enable automatic activations of profiles and account.

We are working on documentation, we'll give priority to this one.

To allow to work with approving process for Moderators and Administrators. Studio is actually for site configuration only, not moderation.

- change the name to moderate (more descriptive)
- make the UI like studio
- full page overlay
- icon navigation
Install module "Invitations" and make sure that the following option is on:
Studio > Invitations > Enable registration by invitation only
You can send join links to invitation requests from Account Dash > Manage > Requests
Then for invitations mode I would suggest to enable auto-activations for Accounts and Profiles:
Studio > Settings > Account > Automatic account activation after creation
Studio > Persons|Orgs > Activate all persons after creation automatically
It's not only for moderators and moderation process, it's for admins to manage content in bulk as well.
