It looks like the core of UNA and Protean template have incompatible versions. First of all, you may check the missing updates in the Studio->Apps Market->Updates area. If it will not help then it's better to reinstall Protean.

How do I uninstall so as to reinstall? I cannot find the "Manage" icon which the guides refer to

UPDATE: by looking "within" I found that the upgrade of the Protean template has been passed on some steps. In this case (and if you haven't own changes in the app's files), you need to enable auto-update and force auto-updates options in the Studio->Settings->Sites area and complete the left upgrade of the modules (Studio-Apps Market->Updates). After all, disable the mentioned options back.
