It's probably a good idea to have a subscription set up for people that want to sell their stuff.

  yes.. we are doing this.. so the social aspect is there.. like facebook twitter..ect. the entire site is free to use.. however if you want content from a creator.. they have a fans only content on their profiles. and charge a subscription.. as the site owner.. we do a 20/80 split.. the creator gets 80percent.. that is the highest in the industry.

  Does fans only affect other places on the site? What about in the public feed?

  If you're talking about the Fans mod people will see a preview or custom set picture instead of content. I had it so people not subscribed would see an image that said Subscribers Only.
