Reported this issue during A1 phase, I was not able to fully figure out what causes this problem as when I clear the site cache it SOMETIMES fixes the problem. Unsure if a GitHub ticket was made for this or not when I reported it.

  Good to hear! Still working out some of the kinks I can and applying the "Completed" bug fixes from GitHub to my local install since it's taking quite some time for the next phase to come over.
  Be sure to check other locations for that __VAR HERE__ issue, such as the Designer menu within the footer, it has a nasty habit of popping up in the most random places.
