About the first part of your question - yes, creating a closed group inside of space is impossible. The visibility of the "child content" is dependent on the parent. About the second part - humm, you can't create spaces inside other spaces.

You are right…the dynamic of parent and child spaces is different. The child space isn’t inside the parent.
