Admin Announcements
This mod allows the Site Administrator to set up Announcements in the Studio and these Announcements are shown to members when they log in (or optionally non-members too).
The mod is very flexible, allowing the admin to create Announcements that can be delivered to everyone or only to a particular subset of members.
It is also possible to link an Announcement to a Site URL or an external URL. For example, if an Announcement is made regarding an Event that is also listed on the site, you can link to that Event. In the same manner, if an Announcement is made regarding some external activity, it is possible to link to a website containing more information.
There are times when the Site Administrator wants to make announcements to only a specific set of members of the site.
Member access can be filtered by :
- Age Range
- Gender
- Membership Type (select one or multiple membership levels)
- Location (option to limit announcement to profiles within a particular geographical area)
Announcements can also be set up to be shown on particular days of the week, a particular month, or only on a specific date.
Announcements can be configured to expire on a specific date.
Search functionality allows browsing of Announcements by Keyword.
Some Examples Of How Announcements Can Be Used :
- Scenario 1: Admin can post Announcements that are only viewable to Female Members with Gold Membership
- Scenario 2: Admin can post Announcements to members between the age of 20 and 30.
- Scenario 3: Admin can post Announcements that are only viewable on Mondays and Wednesdays
- Scenario 4: Admin can post Announcements that are only viewable on Thanksgiving day.
