I was exploring real-time streaming options like red5 Seems useful for interactive AI/video experiences. Curious if anyone has tested similar setups.

Hello @abhay !
Yes, we have some solutions for that, described here https://unacms.com/wiki/Streams
Could you please share more details about your experience?

We tried. We hired UNA to integrate Streams. It never got to a useful state. They've stopped responding to help requests to finish their integration. So, buyer beware.

Hello, this information doesn't make any sense to me... My stream is up and running and working as it should. The problem was mainly with the OME configuration, not the UNA CMS.
-
@Brand Harbor could you please specify who you was working with to integrate Streams for your site ?

Glad for your overview of things, Pavel.
Would be nice to see what a properly configured OME file looks like. Yes, there are many values which are site specific.

Unfortunately, there’s no one-size-fits-all guide; everyone uses something different—Docker, for example—and every server is different, with different ports and so on. Another thing is that if someone wants to use Stream, they need to know how to set it up themselves. If something goes wrong on a live network, I can’t imagine them scrambling to find someone to fix it for them. That’s a recipe for disaster! A simple rule for everyone: learn how to set it up yourself and don’t get mad at others when something doesn’t work. Personally, I struggled with this for a whole month, but now I know what to do and how to do it, even if something breaks...
