What is the best one for UNA? My host offers several.
PHP accelerator = - WARNING (The script can be much faster if you install some PHP accelerator)

You probably want to use APC for caching. Works well for me.

It's about 4 years later and several of these accelerators have been DIScontinued: APC, eAccelerator, XCache.
Do the latest versions of PHP and UNA still need an accelerator? Which one do you recommend? Thank you!

Yes, it's still needed, now OPCache is usually act as php accelerator, also known as opcode cache.
