Someone has finally learned how to use AI—good luck with the user support that comes with it. When you offer something like this, you have to expect further updates and support as UNA grows.

@PavelS lol, don't be pessimistic about it, and it takes so much more than just AI. I've developed systems in my days, and I am also ITIL-certified among the other labels of knowledge and education I carry.. I wrote technical and functional specs for programmers as a system analyst, sometimes as a solution architect, depending on where I was placed at clients when traveling...

As for you, I've placed you in the list of one of my knowledgeable friends, because my first encounter with you was an overwhelming experience, when you shared with me some solution options at a time I felt lost, so in essence you are good at what you do lol... and I know that yes, you can teach me a thing or two...

@highlightings Hey.. thank you for mentioning licenses... I am simply reaching out to those who might find themselves stuck somehow, because I've been there... You see success because you now have the module you need; hence, you're caught up in the opposite direction, given the malfunction of what you believed was gonna make it.

@Chris Andre Buys It’s precisely because I remember you as someone who knew nothing about UNA or programming—you used to post here about every little thing, complaining that you couldn’t figure something out, etc.—that I wrote you’ve already mastered AI.

The strange thing is that with all your experience and credentials, you can't seem to create your own module, and it probably took you a year to figure out how to fix Jerom's modules. Just look through your history and posts.

I developed this one module, and I am only sharing two screens with you... yes you right, but if what I know and add it to what you know... hey, how much more can we achieve...

You have no idea what's been keeping me busy, and I got to live as well... I thought you were a nice guy, and I still do... maybe you pointed out something, and that I do have a big mouth.. I like to run ahead of what I believe in, and try to live up to just that by chasing my very own belief system, making it a reality

Tell me if you want more...I'll gladly share.. and these are but far from finished, but cover the basics of a una cms custom module to be production-ready...

I never said you had a big mouth; I just pointed out that you’re using AI. Jerom didn’t have AI available when he created his modules, and neither did I when I was starting out :) That’s why I wrote that it’s not fair—it’s okay for personal use, modify whatever you need, but don’t offer your services, or at least not publicly, even if it’s under the MIT license. Don’t use others to promote yourself. It looks good in the screenshots, but it’s mostly the AI’s work, not yours—as if you were writing the code by hand from scratch. I’m not stupid, and I know what AI is capable of :) But I still don’t mean any harm; I’m just used to telling it like it is. If you have a problem with that, I’m afraid I can’t change it—I’m not going to lie for anyone’s sake. 

Hey man, Jerome is a friend of mine and one hell of a programmer with some great ideas for apps... I think you're missing the mark here... I didn't talk against Jerome; I reached out to those who might be stuck with some of his modules

Your whole post is about Jerom. Your friend—and he didn't fix your modules for you? That's weird... And no, I didn't miss anything. I'm done with this discussion—there's no point, sorry :)

Again, I had to mention his name, after all, he is the vendor and the subject is clear, saying not an extra or less but a very meaningful message. How you make sense out of it, and unfortunately can learn from all this that some emotions were triggered.. and sorry for that, and hope we're good

@PavelS Don't you know that even programmers use AI to get the job done quicker.. and if it is all about you trying to prove a point that it's not my work and done by AI... I don't want to say it, I graduated from programming many years ago, and my last position was a system analyst.. but those who love programming make it equally important to them, not that it is less important.. different strokes from different folks, my friend.

Hi, @Chris Andre Buys Of course, I use AI too, but on a different level than you :) I don't know, maybe you're right—it seems to me that you talk a lot, but there's no sign of your work, your websites, etc. You write about what kind of programmer you are, how you graduated from programming many years ago, and yet it wasn’t that long ago that you couldn’t handle the basics with UNA—see your posts from the entire time I’ve seen you here on the forum. Nothing special has happened on my end; I continue to create custom modules, I have my own CMS system, I host several corporate websites, etc...  😎

I like your sites and work, and thank you for the vote of confidence... I never did anything in my life to impress or to prove a point. Whatever I do has everything to do with, and impact the lives of others, and, if God forbid, yes, but if He still wants me to take another 10 years, so be it... But I am about to bring change, and no one, but no one, will let me feel bad or less, or for all I care... let's wrap it up and say you win, and I am cool with it. What I showed you is a work-in-progress or at least a sign that I do work on unacms, (some people in the una community do know me well enough, and it's not your ordinary people)

You see Facebook, or any other social networking platform... Now, ever heard of creating demand and avoiding competition to dominate the market... or ever heard of how countries have to depend on government resources, never to know that all resources are within communities, well those who believe and when called by God, that in turn can be just one man... I am not saying it's me..it will be a joke, or haters are bold enough and will do everything in their power, yes.... forget about themselves and at the same expose themself in weakness... Why I mention the above facebook, Dominate Markets, Government Resources is but the tip of the iceberg in the things I am busy with.. my friend, you don't know me or where I came from, but even if you're the better one, I have to share with you. I don't think people were impressed by what you did here. You free to do as you please, writing material here on the forum as long as we keep it warm and friendly, and respect each other, and if we fight, we do it in the capacity of professionals, so that we still sit at the same table and enjoy coffee tomorrow, so why would I have a problem with it when you feel free to explore here on Unacms, tell me why... never be better, but be different... now please back-off and enough of your insults. Back to the original topic of this discussion: Jerome’s Apps.

I wish I knew how he’s doing. I can tell you he had amazing apps for Dolphin, and I bought more than 30 of them. I also bought some for UNA and, like you, quickly sorted out the bugs after the last upgrade, which in any way ffected other providers' apps as well. His apps are properly integrated into the system, so all the settings can be configured correctly.

With that said, I’ll definitely buy more of his UNA modules because they add great value to my site's users’ experience.

Can I add , I work close with @Chris Andre Buys he is a talented programmer and has looked after all my large una cms websites while I have had ill health, Chris has not been available for a while due to being of such a good charecter he has kept my sites running, and they are big, very big both of them we have a brand name which due to the nature of business I can not share with you on here. But I just wanted to let you know without him it would have stooped, I am getting well again now Simon

I do have his cell number and maybe see If I can get a hold of him... will give feedback..

I don't know what insults you're talking about; I just expressed my opinion about your posts and your work. If you search online for just a moment, you'll see that most of the links in your posts lead to very dangerous sites, full of spam and malicious apps... see LinkedIn, etc... Show us all your work—something finished, not just talk about what you’ve done, where you’ve done it, how good you are, and what you’re currently working on. Something real and tangible, please—I’ll gladly apologize. I have a lot of modules from Jerome, not just from the Dolphin days, and I was the first to complain about his lax approach to updates, etc. Quantity outweighed quality. I had to modify and rework them all myself. Call him and ask your friend about the post “Shame on you, Jerome.” So, based on my experience, the people I trust here and know can actually do something are UnaTeam, Leonid, Alex, Alexey, Anton, and everyone from AQB— -By the way, I learned from them; they helped me get to where I am now. Una is actually starting to make me money and pay back everything I put into it. I can’t say that about you; so far, you’re just all talk.

I recommend contacting someone from the Una team to check that everything is in order and that your network is properly secured. A lot of people really underestimate this.

I gave you credit well enough for your knowledge, but you kept pushing me... the little you shared with me when I needed it, was enough, there was no need for you to show something finished or tangible

You're part of the reason new people don't post and ask questions. Why are you so bent out of shape by Chris using AI? Who's to say how much one uses whatever sources are available to get the job done? Calm down, boys.

You must have missed something or didn't read it all the way through. I use AI myself, as do many others, including the UNA team. And no, you're wrong—people are afraid because there are a lot of anonymous idiots here who post meaningless comments every now and then, or those who try to gain attention off the work of others.
