License for one testing web for each production web license, for UNA platform.
Hello friends from UNA.
Would it be possible to obtain one test site license for each license for the production version of the UNA web platform?
We always have a test version of the website for every production version of the website ...
whether it is Wordpress, Joomla, Prestashop ...... or for a customer-programmed web ...
However, it is reasonable to try everything (upgrade, ..., various configuration changes) in a test environment before performing it in production.
We would also like it for UNA platform sites ...
So would it be possible to have from you License for one testing web for each production web license, for UNA platform.?
Maybe with some restrictions, such as the number of user accounts .. for example to 10 ... or some other restriction?

As far as I know the UNA Team is considering free download of modules for testing purpose without automatic updates. Andrew posted that idea some time ago, which was largely agreed by the community. Since then, that topic didn't come up again.

I think you can use the same license for production and test site, considering that you are updating and install new paid modules on one site only. However if you need to install module or update module on both (or more) sites then you will need to reset the license before you are performing update or new install, so license can be re-registered for another site. There is no limit on number of resets for now, but in the future we plan to make some limit for license resets.

Hmm. Doesn't sound like a final solution for running a test server and a production server, people are waiting for. Will there be a final solution in the not too far future? I do not want to hack around with license resets.

This solution with possibility to reset license and reassign it to test server is known to me .. .But this is not usable solution in teal life. if you have production server with lot of users ,,,, it is not very nice to stop using production server, because you want to do testing and it will take som time, may be more hours ..
For instance ... we have production server for each our web .. .
and testing servers are anoter IP address, another domain ...Profesional work need profesional solution ...!

It is definitely usable in real life for now. There is no hacking around. You simply log in to your UNA profile and reset your license and then paste your license in your test site. Very simple and not time-consuming.
You can also use the resources UNA already has setup at https://online.me and https://ci.una.io for the latest dev install.
And your real solution since "Professional" work needs "Professional" solution is for you to buy another license and use it on the mirrored site of the production site. And I am sure you will say you have 20 different people wanting you to build the next facebook for them....so buy 20 licenses, 1 for each test site. You can always sell the license later with the site since you need to buy a license anyway for the production site. It's a business expense, the cost of being a professional in business.
