Message Blocked
Help! I am launching a Google Ads campaign, but I have a problem of sorts. My confirmation emails are getting "blocked." Has anyone had this problem? How can it be solved? Or do I simple turn off the need to confirm email addresses (which I don't want to do)?

Yes, it's a common and widespread problem, already noticed by the developers team. They are actually trying to solve it. https://github.com/unaio/una/issues/3881

Thank you for the reply and information, Thomlin. I put a notice for new sign ups to put the site's email addresses in their email contacts hoping that will prevent the blocking problem. Hopefully the developers team will fix it soon.

If you are on an una server, I'm pretty sure, they can solve the problem with the fix they are working on. If you are hosted somewhere else, the problem may be different. I had always problems with lost confirmation e-mails, until I noticed that my host was blacklisted by MS free e-mail account servers and e-mails where therefore blocked, even before they could get into the inboxes of my members.

Yes, I am on an UNA server and plan on staying there. That's good to know.

Hi @thomlin How did you fix your lost confirmation e-mails issue on a self-hosted server? Thx.

Hi @OneEagle , I fixed it by using an external e-mail delivery service, in my case smtp2go.com. It routes my blacklisted ip through their smtp server, which is not blocked by free e-mail servers. setup is easy and first 1.000 e-mails a month are free.

Hello @thomlin , That sounds like a great fix to use! I just did a quick look at their web site. Is it really as easy as using their SMTP details? Which method did you use to connect it to your UNA site? SMTP or API?

I use SMTP.
And yes, it's really that simple.

Great to know and thank you for sharing the information! I am going to sign up right now!

Good luck!

Great @thomlin ! Thanks for sharing. I will definitely go for a SMTP Mailing server too.
