It was recently reported to me from a Premium user that they were getting the file size limit I have set for the "Standard" user role.
I had Standard user member set to only allow up to 6MB in file size while Premium users were using the server-limit I set of 18MB, however the Premium member was only able to upload up to 6MB file sizes, anything higher would result in a broken file/image.
This doesn't make sense to me how these settings are bleeding in to one another when we're given the option to set the file size limit for uploading per user role.
Edit:
I'm running version: 14.0.0-B1

Did you set upload_max_filesize value in the php.ini?
Please read my full post, I made mention of my set server limit. I as a site operator can upload up to my defined max file size I set on the server.
Whatever I set the max file size for the Standard user role, also gets applied to the Premium user role, each time I adjust the Standard role allowed file size and had my premium user test, they confirmed it was also changing for them, as a premium user despite me not touching the premium user role file size limit.
Hello @LoneTreeLeaf !
Could you specify the following part: did you set up the limit on 18Mb for the Premium level too? Or leave it as untouched and set the 6Mb only for the Standard?
I have checked on my side both situations (the Standard level has the certain limit on both cases, when the Premium level has the some certain file size limit and when not) - everything was working fine - the Premium member could upload the files with the sizes bigger than the Standard limit.
Yes, I had manually set Premium from "0" to "18", when a user reported to me about the issue I set it back to "0" for unlimited (thus using the system cap I set by force), this did not change for them as they were still receiving the cap set for Standard members. It wasn't until I also set the Standard membership levels file size cap to 18MB that my premium user was able to take advantage of the file size cap perk.
