So I run a site with UNA software on a Dedicated Server, and on this server I have other websites i run as well. So Yesterday All My Sites started to go down one by one and not all at same time, until they were all eventually down. Then they would all come back online for 10 minutes or so and go down again, that went on for 2 days!
What I realized though was when all my sites would come back online momentarily , the only site that never came back online was the UNA software site, and it took me almost 48 hours to realize that. So after a hard reboot i was able to bring una site up and they all went down again, so i decided to try it again and remembered that my una site always crashes when i leave on Auto Update, and i just has a module installed that needed updating so maybe the mod dev left it on or maybe i accidently hit Force Auto Update, but i quickly turned off Auto Update before all the sites crashed again.
And VOILA!!! All the sites including my una site stayed on line! Now i had issues with Auto Update crashing my una site before, so i never keep it on, so however it came to be on this time i dont know , BUT WHAT PUZZLES ME IS HOW CAN MY UNA SITE CRASHING OR NOT LOADING CONNECTION, CAUSE ALL MY OTHER SITES ON THE SAME DEDICATED SERVER TO GO DOWN AS WELL ?
HOPING SOMEONE CAN HELP ME OUT HERE. MY SITES ARE ALL STAYING UP NOW, ALTHOUGH MY UNA SITE HAD ITS SSL CERT DOWNGRADED DUE TO THE DOWNTIME AND NOT USING THE RESOURCES IT SAID SOMETHING TO THAT EFFECT AND NOW MY MESSENGER HANGS AGAIN AND JUST SAYS "CONNECTING...." IM SURE ONCE SSL CERT IS REISSUED IT WILL FIX IT.
BUT I WANT TO KNOW HOW ONE WEBSITE CAN CAUSE ALL THE OTHERS TO GO DOWN?
ANYWAYS, I JUST NEVER KNEW ONE SITE COULD CRASH ALL SITES ON A DEDICATED SERVER WITH THEIR OWN CPANEL ACCOUNTS.

also my messenger just needed to be restated so that’s back now but I still want to know how one site can bring down all sites on one dedicated server? I would like to fix whatever configuration I have wrong , so it never happens again
My UNA site was once hacked, no fault of UNA but rather the fault of other out-dated scripts on my other sites.
I would do a scan of all your sites according to files *with recent changes* and see if there is anything suspicious in the code. Malicious code is even attached to images and pdf files, too.
Hackers have automated tools now that do all the work. If there are vulnerabilities on your other sites, they can be exploited in a matter of seconds. Especially look out for Wordpress and the associated add-ons.
Hackers desire to use your server space and processing power - not disable your sites. In most cases. Still it does happen. And it is frustrating, as we can testify.
Check your error logs, too. And see if there is any server support that can take a look at things. That is, unless you are hosting the dedicated server yourself.

Thanks for the reply and it wasn't a hack for certain though I've been hacked in the past and it sucked lol he was so good that he allowed my systems admin to restore everything after hours and then took us down. Again and was kind enough to Leave a blatant hint as to how he got in lol I guess he felt bad for us but had we not had backups I would have lost 17 years of data on one of my forums as he deleted the entire thing
Anyhow we're having major issues with our una site right now and I'm just lost ma. Lol
