On my site, when and administrator tries to post a link in the timeline with editor enabled, the "Post" button is greyed out (see image). Is this by design or is there a way I can post links?

EDITED to clarify that the user is an administrator.

    • There is a way to post link I have read about it, let me see if I can find it for you

      • Have you checked permissions in studio

        Here is a small insight it mat just add food for thought Simon

        Hi Kyle - there are a few points and possibilities here;

        1. The 'Operator' Status does not regulate the ability to post links and/or view/edit the front end of the site - it only determines who can access studio - therefore only minimal users should have Operator status.

        2. I'm not quite sure how to set up Discord, but it seems like it might be more about posting a link, rather than editing code. You can control who can post links from Studio > Permissions > *User Level* > System > Post Links

        • Thanks @Clubhouse I didn't mention that this is an Administrator that is attempting this. I did confirm that the Administrator role has all permissions including post links. I reviewed Mark's comment above and it confirms that the Post Links permission is the key here

          • Any suggestions here @LeonidS ?

            • @mrochek please make sure that you have "Link" field is enabled in all Timeline post forms

              • Excellent @Alex T⚜️ ! That was the problem. I appreciate your help, Sir!
