Asynchronous Mode
What exactly is Asynchronous Mode and what does it mean?

When async mode is on content is loaded after the the block is displayed - normally you won’t notice it, but if content is slow to load it helps to improve percieved performance

RSS Feeds are a good example of this as the block comes from your server but the feed requires a call to an additional server before the content in the block loads.

This is really great, I just settled all the blocks with a lot of content. I encourage everyone to use this, it's really very pleasant, it gives an incredible feeling of fluidity.
