Paid join for groups and courses

The 'Paid to join' is set on a membership level basis. E.g. If you enable the 'Paid to join' action in the Group permissions for the Premium level, then after creating a group, the 'Edit Pricing' option will appear to Premium members in the group action menu on their group page. (in the more actions - the vertical three-dot menu at the top-right corner of the group page)

Please note that they will need to activate at least one payment provider via My Account > Settings > Payments Tab.

On the 'Edit Pricing' page of their group, they will see the 'Add' button that will allow them to add/create the Group 'Pricing Plan'. (Name, price, period etc)

I set this up, but tested it on 13.0 and it didn’t seem to work on my end. Did you test it through?

Hi @Karina What doesn't work from your side? Please can you give more details. Also have you set up your payment provider?

yes I had tested it with a user's membership, set up the payment provider and then created the pay and join with the amount etc. I can't remember what the issue was exactly, I'll have to retest again, or look at my logs when I reported it.

Let me know if you test. I will soon, but I'm losing my mind trying to find things! Lol.

Hi @OneEagle , I went back to my messaging logs, and found that I reported the error. This was actually reported back in Nov 2022, where pay and join was working only if the event/group etc was a subscription, not a one-time lifetime payment. A User once clicking on the payment button, got an error. Last I know, they were supposed to fix it. But I haven't tested it since to see.
