I am at a very critical stage of my platform configuration and some of the reading in docs can be very challenging though. The recent video Andrey made of "Group Feeds" was quite helpful and open an understanding on other areas like the submenu and how we can twig it to feature with the other items and how to use it in the new page etc.
Maybe we do have some video tutorials. I subscribed to the UNA Youtube channel, but I don't see videos to that extend.
I don't want to spam our community with silly questions...
I am trying very hard to understand the permission and role modules. To my understanding can I say that permission are build-in system groups whereas roles can be more seen as collective permission tied up in a role. Don't really know...
Boy!!!!! can I thank you guys one more time for this awesome system. The more I navigate through it while building my solution, the more I realize that I made the best decision ever, after years of searching and test-driving hundreds of similar products ......wait this is so much more than what I expected....CMS, Social Networking - UNA has redefine what deemed to be ......I am not so sure if there is any other product that can compete with UNA. The rating on Softaculous in totally incorrect.

The tutorials @PavelS mentioned should be helpful, but also let me know what areas you'd like to see covered in new tutorials. I plan to publish a number of them after 13.1 release.
Well, so far I slowly begin to get it... There was a video though, of how we can display 'Suggested friends' in a compact view or gallery view and you were showcasing for both desktop & mobile view. The display was in the top area of the layout.
Andrey as for my paid modules, I hope to buy them soon....I figured a way out to carry on for so long. But you hear from me soon.

@ Chris Andre Buys I am a bit unclear about what you mean by the video displaying "suggested friends". Do you mean you remember a video you can't locate? The "Connections" system is quite new, I don't think we made a video on that.

Yes, if everything is OK, you should see profile cards there. But it looks like the block shows a preloader. Do you use Async loading for the block? Also do you have the same results on default Connections -> Friend Suggestions page (/friend-suggestions)?

Anton thanks for your input, because I now know that it is not something I did wrong.
I get the same results on (/friend-suggestions) page, but only if I select "profile units placeholder".
To the other guys. my apologies if not properly explained.
I just want to get rid of the big blocks that really take up too much space when showing suggested friends. I wish for a more compact, somewhat small view to fit in maybe more faces.
What took me so long to reply and also, it irritates the hell out of me!!! I once looked at a video demonstrating in particular mobile view vs desktop view, how one can alter the look of these images of suggested friends. I just can't find that video, and it must have been on youtube or UNA site...

I think you didn't understand correctly, from AQB it looks, for example, like in the picture, you have different setting options... and what I sent in the photo above is just editing the Active profile code in Developer
