Giphy integration
We just have released new update 10.0.3 for Messenger.
It contains several bug fixes to improve send message function and design issues.
New ability - Giphy integration. Now you can send GIFs and Stickers with special settings for content via messenger.

Question: Is jot messanger a 3rd party intergration or did UNA develop it?

It is 3rd integration of https://giphy.com/ . The same service as in twitter, whatsup and etc..

So, I went into Messenger settings and noticed it has a rating option. That’s good. I have looked and I do not see where GIFs can be located and inserted.. Any help on this?

First of all you need to define Giphy Api Key in Studio -> Messenger settings.
To get the key you need to join on https://giphy.com/ and create key here https://developers.giphy.com/dashboard/?create=true
When you set Api Key you will be able to see new icon near the other buttons in text area.

Nice update! Working really well on web.
Some issues in my iOS and Android apps, particularly with Search.
Do you recommend recompiling the apps?

Alexey - Just an update that after recompiling the app, I can't get it to work with iOS 13. Search is working now but when I go to select a GIF and insert it, it just spins trying to load or I get a little empty square box which is also what appears in the chat. I'm having the same problem with mobile web on iOS 13.
Android is working well both in the native app and in mobile web

after updating the messenger
just get an giphy api beta key and put it in the text box of messenger's related box in studio.
then when you write a message in messenger the giphy tab will be seen near file upload tab. -

Once we clean up and test this integration well it will be added to comments and content posting in other UNA modules.

Note that this implementation is fairly raw - we should have an updated version in a few days.

I installed it on my site. Seems to be working well.

Messenger version is updated on UNA.io only. Several fixes were done to make it work properly on Safari browser and allow ro perform search on different languages.
Feel free to test and if everything is ok, we will release update.
