UNA 11.0.3 Released

Service update - UNA 11.0.3 - released today with 73 minor enhancements and bug fixes. This update is considered stable and recommended for all UNA-powered websites. If you have "automatic updates" enabled in Studio the new version will install automatically.

The next feature-release - UNA 12 is still in active development.

      • My site automatically updated during the small hours, however, I received a notification with some errors:

        The following errors appeared during modules upgrade:

        Accounts Manager module:
        Ads module: Array
        Antispam module:
        Events module:
        Nexus module:

        When I logged onto my site, which is due to go live, Monday after next, I found that some of my Ads had been totally deleted.

        I also received 4 database error emails yesterday.

        After logging into my studio, the modules which failed to load were ready for updating, so I clicked them and they disappeared, after they said that they were queuing. 

        How do I find out if they installed correctly and how do I prevent loss of content on future automatic updates?!

      • Hello, after update. member have issues login into their accounts. so so we tried resetting password in admin. then the password will not show up now.

        Thank you! This is an impressive list of work done. I see where "enable auto-update" is checked in my Studio > Site Settings. Is there a history log in studio, where we can see the dates of auto-updates and their ending status (e.g., complete, etc.) and details of what modules were updated? If not in Studio, is there a log we can reference? I'm not sure how to know if I had an update or not, or if it was successful. I thought maybe finding a field for JS in the templates (one of the enhancements) might be a "tell;" however, I couldn't find it. I'm on a self-hosted site. Thanks again.

          Found it, exactly what I was looking for, if no GUI was available.

          This was in my logs/upgrade.log file

          --------- 2020-08-13T03:01:02+00:00

          11.0.2-11.0.3 upgrade will be applied

          Files permissions are ok and can be overwritten

          Files copying successfully completed

          Deprecated files were successfully deleted or there is no files to delete

          System files hash was successfully updated

          System SQL script was successfully executed

          The following languages will be affected for system:

           - No languages will be affected

          System after update custom script was successfully executed

          Nothing in my upgrade_modules file; but I have only the Ads module installed.

          • According to this log, system update was successfully performed, how you need to check modules updates in Studio > Apps Market > Updates. There is no log file for modules updates but usually email is sent upon success or not after modules update.

              One more question: where does the Enhancement for: Allow custom JS in templates appear? I looked in the Protean template system, and saw only the Custom Styles section but no Custom JS section. Is there another place (besides Designer > Template > Injections?) Thanks!

              • It's internal enhancement, which allows to specify custom behaviour for sliding menus (such menus like Notification, Account, Add), so there is no admin interface for it.

                  Very good! I did wonder if it had to do with sliding menus. I'm still learning the system, so I have not looked at these in depth yet. Thank you for answering my question, Alex.

                  You didn't add a webRTC video recorder so we can record videos or take pictures directly from the Una website from the computer with a webcam???

                    Hi there, I'm self hosting a site. It shows that an upgrade is available but. there's no actual way to preform the upgrade. I have the "force upgrade" also enabled in the settings. Is there something I'm missing? Please help?

                  • Hello!  I don't know if this is related to the update, but for some reason requests to the domain have grown many times over!  Who knows what it might be?

Сегодня я зашел на сайт UNA и хотел оставить здесь комментарий со скриншотом, но когда я кликнул по кнопке загрузить фото, обнаружил ещё около шести фотографий голых девушек 😂 которые по умолчанию были уже загружены и самое интересное, что я не смог их удалить. Через приложение UNA такого не происходит. Ребята мне кажется кто-то вас взломал или это просто шутка такая 😆?

                    • Здравствуйте LeonidS, да я просто хотел добавить скриншот графика с количеством запросов к домену. Когда я кликнул по кнопке для загрузки фото в комментариях то обнаружил ещё 6 фото обнаженных женщин, попытался их удалит но при нажатии кнопки «Delete»ничего не происходило. Тогда я перешёл в приложение UNA и загрузил фото (выше в комментариях) сейчас попробую сделать это на сайте и напишу результат.

                      • Сейчас проделал тоже самое на сайте, такой ошибки больше не возникает, добавляется только то что я загрузил.

                        • Это можно воспроизвести, если открыть форму комментария, затем в каком-то другом окне разлогинится, затем вернуться в предыдущее окно где открыта форма комментария и попробовать загрузить фото.

                        • I don't know; after seeing the reports come in you might want to reconsider the stable and recommend statement.

                          • Seems to me that most of these reports are around installation and upgrade issues rather than bugs.

                            • Let me see if I understand. So it appears that auto update is on by default since someone asked how to turn it off so I assume she didn't turn it on.  An upgrade is pushed out automatically and that caused upgrade issues including some serious ones; but you still recommend someone upgrading?  Or do you recommend a new install but not upgrading?  It seems to me that this auto updating is always a catastrophe in waiting.

                            • I am not taking chances on this one thanks. I wait patiently to 12.0

                              • I also do not want to risk that my pages do not work or do it incorrectly, however I think that the same could happen with version 12. I guess it is best to do a full backup before any update.

                                • Possible bug in new menu item creation:
                                  After creating a new menu item, the new item is displayed as the language key not the value of it. This started after the upgrade to Version: 11.0.3.
