UNA 11.0.4 Released
UNA 11.0.4 is released in the production channel. This is a service update covering 87 bugfixes and minor improvements. As usual, all sites configured to production update channel and with auto-updates enabled will update automatically. This update is considered stable and recommended for all sites powered by UNA.
But what about UNA 12?
UNA 12 development is now complete and we begin packages preparation tomorrow. This process usually takes 3-5 days, so we should fit somewhere between Christmas and NYE. The reason why we release 11.0.4 now is that UNA 12 will be in beta-channel for at least a few more weeks, so any sites that use production-channel only will benefit from a service update now. UNA 12 will include over 90 enhancements, including significant core updates, new modules and UX improvements.

Awesome news, thanks! Are you planning to fix notifications for group/event invitations? It's a major pain point for my users now. They don't receive any site notifications when someone invites them to a group/event.

Hi regarding the header image in ads bug where it wouldn't load on "add" but need to be reload via edit. The fix seems to have removed the 'header image' from add. It only appears now under edit. Was that the intent? I don't think that will be intuitive for users.
I tried adding it to the form however selecting a 'category' causes the page "refresh" removing the add header as well as clearing a custom field that I added for adding a link.

The "follow" button is still not appearing on orgs though, only appears if you're already a member of the org. I thought it was supposed to add that button to orgs regardless of whether you're a member.

I was looking through the lovely long lists of enhancements.
I didn't see lazy loading of non-visible content (photos in particular). Did I miss something or is it up for a future release?

What's the sponsorship process and costs involved? (For this and just general knowledge)

Sponsorship is when custom modification which is made for someone is included in UNA Platform, many people do it because of obvious benefits, since we maintain the code across the versions, so modifications is working after updates. Usually it costs the same as custom development pricing. If you are interested please send us request.

Everything is good and it’s fast. Just one problem I have. Why would you have an @mention in notifications go to a page full of mentions but not to the post that was mentioned. On top of that there’s no way for you to respond. This doesn’t make sense to me at all and is not good.

I hope UI fixes the space at the bottom of messages. The blue background should not show up whenever you scroll up at the end.

I a future update, would it be possible to add an additional page layout option that has one column on the top, three columns in the middle, and one column on the bottom. We currently have a layout with one column on the top and three columns on the bottom. This additional layout would be very helpful

After the upgrade mention notifications do not direct you to the post that was mentioned. Can something be done about this? I have tried to get this resolved I am not having any success.

Unfortunately mentions never really did link to a post directly. They always linked to page with all content that includes mentions. Not ideal, but we’d have to overhaul mentions quite a bit to change it. They are a bit tricky due to posts privacy, contexts privacy, etc. We will get to this at some point for sure.

In the Studio->Settings->Site settings you may null this parameter "Max number of mentions per post".
